Ranging as one of the top attractions in Tasmania, The Salamanca Market is another good reason why we are in Hobart on Saturday. They are one of the nations brightest and busiest.

From the colour and bustle of a city market to the treasures waiting to be unearthed in an antique shop, there are plenty of surprises in store.

Lemongrass and LPs, sandstone sculpture and salmon, buskers and baked spuds – you’ll find them all at Salamanca.

In the antique shops of our country towns, look for colonial relics or furniture crafted from rare and fragrant Huon pine – sharp-eyed browsers find bargains!

Enjoy the sights, sounds, flavours, action and colour of one of Australia’s best outdoor markets, Salamanca Market in Hobart which highlights fine Tasmanian made, market art and craft – hand-worked glass, innovative and unique design in Tasmanian timbers, stylish clothing, bold ceramics, antiques, collectibles, books, curios, trash or treasure? This market is one of the better places to get that true bargain on anything antique, for beautiful, quality rugs or luxurious Pashmina shawls made from the softest cashmere wool and silk. Make sure you visit Salamanca Market!

Have a look at our holiday to Tasmania where a visit to Salamanca Markets is a must.
