Bus Trip to Mildura Country Music Festival

The 2008 Mildura Country Music Festival is from Friday September 26 - Sunday October 5 2008. We have a bus trip from Perth to Mildura leaving Perth Monday 22 September 2008 arriving back 19 days later on Friday 10 October 2008.

The Mildura Country Music Festival is recognised as rating just behind the Tamworth Music Festival and the Gympie Muster as one of the best country music events on the Australian calendar.

We had a bus trip to Tamworth in January and have a bus available again in September/October for Mildura.

The major difference with Mildura is the highly talented independent performers. The big named artists tied to major record labels don’t attend Mildura, which means the strong representation of the up and coming country performers.

This will be the 22nd Mildura Country Music Festival where over 100 individual artists and groups will entertain us over a 10 day period commencing on September 26, 2008. The artists include Golden Guitar finalists and Star Maker winners with a lot of them having very successful careers.

Some of the artists last year included Donna Boyd, Craig Giles, Jeff Brown, Tracy Coster, Owen Blundell, Kelly Llewellyn, Casey Watt, Peter Pratt, Rodney Vincent, Tom Maxwell, Tracy Lee Killeen, Dean Perrett and Carter & Carter.

The artists have a fantastic time at Mildura because they are all treated as equals – no star billings – no “just support acts” – they are all playing for the enjoyment. This comes through strong and clear in their performances. The good part for us is that virtually all of the entertainment is free.

So get yourself organised - get in touch with us here (or ring Ian on 0418 953 060) to book your place with a 10% deposit and the final payment due 31 August.

We will make all your travel arrangements – you don’t have to pay for fuel to drive, you don’t have to book accommodation, crikey we will even feed you all the way over and back as well as at Mildura if you want to eat our cooking – all included in your price.
