Melbourne Cup Itinerary & Spring Racing Carnival.

Below you will find our Melbourne Cup Itinerary and Spring Racing Carnival camping Tour Package for your 16 Day All Inclusive holiday.

Day 1 Monday: Perth – Norseman

Your Melbourne Cup Crikey Adventure Tour starts. Leave Perth 7.00am, travelling through Southern Cross we call into the Super Pit Mine Site at Kalgoorlie-Boulder before arriving at Norseman for our first night together. L/D

Day 2 Tuesday: Norseman – Eucla

Leaving Norseman we drive across the Nullarbor Plain (one of Australia's great road journeys) to Eucla for the night. B/L/D

Day 3 Wednesday: Eucla – Streaky Bay

We leave Eucla and cross over the border to South Australia. Driving through Ceduna, we take a bit of a detour to Streaky Bay on the South Australia coast where we spend the night in a caravan park right on the beach. B/L/D

Day 4 Thursday: Streaky Bay – Bordertown

We travel through Port Augusta and Adelaide (the city of churches) arriving at Bordertown (birthplace of former Prime Minister Bob Hawke) for the night. B/L/D

Day 5 Friday: Bordertown – Melbourne

Leaving Bordertown (we are now in Victoria), we arrive at Ballarat for a tour at Sovereign Hill (named Australia’s major tourist attraction 2005/06). B/L/D

Day 6-11: Melbourne

B/L/D

Saturday is DERBY DAY.

Tuesday MELBOURNE CUP DAY

Thursday OAKS DAY One for the ladies.

Day 12 Friday: Melbourne – Barossa Valley

After an amazing three days of racing, fashions, maybe a bit of shopping, possibly the Casino and whatever else, we start to make our way home. Tonight we get to Tanunda in the Barossa Valley where we will spend the night. B/L/D

Day 13 Saturday: Barossa Valley - Port Augusta

In the Barossa Valley we will visit a few wineries including a visit to the Whispering Wall. We leave mid afternoon and arrive at Port Augusta for the night. B/L/D

Day 14 Sunday: Port Augusta– Eucla

Leaving Port Augusta we will make our way to Eucla where we will spend the night. B/L/D

Day 15 Monday: Nullarbor – Fraser Range Station

We will see the Great Australian Bight where we will be able to marvel at the spectacular Bunda Cliffs with their sheer 80 metre drop to the ocean in all their glory. Continuing on we arrive at Fraser Range Station for our last night - a real sheep farm. B/L/D

Day 16 Tuesday: Fraser Range Station – Perth

Packing up we leave Fraser Range Station and arrive back in Perth about 6:30pm after our Melbourne Cup and Spring Racing Carnival. B/L
