A unique experience - Crayfishing - as well as fishing.

Today, enjoy Crayfishing. You will drop the cray pots off, go fishing, enjoy the Derwent River and pull the cray pots on the way back.

Whatever you catch we can have for dinner tonight. Maybe you will catch a lovely crayfish, or a flathead, perhaps a salmon?

All fishing gear is supplied – just take you camera and some warm clothes. It can be a bit chilly out fishing in Tasmania. Take a jacket, but also sunglasses and a hat. You will need some sunscreen even on a cloudy day, reflection from the water can burn you.

The crayboat, FV Kamada, is comfortable and sits well in the water. There is plenty of room for ten people and you will be able move around or just laze about looking at the wildlife. This could include sea eagles, dolphins and birds of all kinds including albatross.

Tea and coffee is supplied, but if you want a beer or wine, please feel free to take some.

Have a look at our holiday to Tasmania where you can go cray fishing.
