Coral Bay - Day 4 of our 11 day tour and a Quad Bike Tour
Thursday
We have another leisurely breakfast at Coral Bay of scrambled eggs and toast and cereal. Today I make sure the people who are travelling on the quad bikes get to the departure point and the people who are travelling on the glass bottom boat get to their departure point. Once again there is a fairly even distribution of who goes where.

Quad Bike - inlcuded in the tour at Coral Bay
I have the morning off and catch up on some washing and go for a snorkel at probably my most favourite spot in this wonderful country called Australia. I never get bored snorkelling here because you see something different every time. Whether this is just the mass of different coloured fish, or quite often I see a stingray or a turtle, but just keep being amazed at the wonderful coral.
I have to get everything ready to make some sausage rolls for lunch so leave the beach and head back to the trailer. Everyone gets back from their respective trips and they are full of excitement and everyone keeps talking at once trying to explain what they saw. They eat the sausage rolls and I don’t even think they noticed them. The sausage rolls went quite quickly because it is amazing how a bit of exercise like snorkelling can work up an appetite. I make the absolute best sausage rolls. (Okay you may think you do too and I will not argue with you, but I certainly love mine).
The rest of the afternoon is a day of leisure with no activities organised. Anne and Humphrey actually book a quad bike tour because they went on the glass bottom boat tour as part of their tour payment. Harry and Sally went for a walk to the reef sharks nursery to try to see them. In season you will see hundreds of these reef sharks frolicking just metres from the waters edge. During October to February it is also the turtle breeding season. Others went to the beach for a snorkel and others had a swim in the lovely pool.
Evening came along and we all went to the beach to see the magnificent sunset. What a wonderful sight this is.

Another lovely sunset at Coral Bay
I was slaving away over a hot oven this afternoon and tonight we have a lovely roast lamb and roast vegetables for dinner, this followed by a trifle.
Once again people did various things again tonight. I hope it is a lovely day tomorrow because we are going fishing out in the big blue yonder.
