Bus from Perth for the Bunbury International Jazz Festival
CLOSED 2007!
Going to the Bunbury International Jazz Festival 10/11 February 2007?
We have a bus leaving Perth Saturday morning for Bunbury, returning straight after the concert on Sunday. We will stay Saturday night in a Bunbury Caravan Park camping with everything supplied.
Not too sure about camping? We have superior quality tents, mattresses, sleeping bags, and a range of pillows. Believe me it is very comfortable. Crikey, you do not even have to manually pump up your mattress - we have electric pumps.
We will even provide all meals. (I should tell you here, I love my food and you will definitely not go hungry). We will take you there and back in a fully air-conditioned bus. More details about the Bus Features and Camping Trailer here.
All this for $130 per head (maximum of 21 but minimum numbers also apply). Group bookings welcome.
If you only want the return bus trip and not the accommodation and meals, this will be $60.00 per head.
Note: this does not include tickets to the Jazz Festival. If you wish us to purchase your Jazz Festival tickets as well please let us know, but there will be a small administration charge applied.
The Bunbury International Jazz Festival will become one of the leading jazz festivals in Australia, by developing a festival which will include all aspects of jazz style with an emphasis on mainstream to contemporary with other elements such as gospel, blues, hip hop and cross art form projects to also be included.
The inaugural Bunbury International Jazz Festival has lined up an exhilarating array of jazz artists from around the world and within Australia. It will include the vibrant New York jazz trumpeter John Sneider, the Euro-Brazilian sultry sounds of Lica Cecato. Los Angeles jazz artist Carmen Lundy - renowned as one of the world's finest jazz vocalists - is also heading to Bunbury, along with the internationally acclaimed Melbourne jazz pianist Joe Chindamo. Also heading west is one of the perennials of the Australia festival circuit, Lil’ Fi who will bring her own unique musicianship to the festival - from Bessie to Basie.
Possibly the highlight of the weekend will be the performance by the Harlem Project featuring visiting African American vocalist/actor Carmen Lundy on Sunday at 12.30pm.
