The Best of the South WA 5 day TourIn our Best of the South 5 day tour we visit many places including Corrigan, Hyden, Esperance, Albany, Pemberton, Margaret River and Wellington Dam. At A Glance:
Day 1: PERTH –ESPERANCE Leaving Perth 7.00am we travel to Corrigan with a brief stop at Dog Cemetery, then onto Hyden and visit Wave Rock, where we will have lunch, arriving at Esperance for our first night. L/D Day 2: ESPERANCE –ALBANY This morning after leaving Esperance we take in the sights including the Great Ocean Drive loop featuring the Pink Lake, then onto Ravensthorpe for lunch. After lunch we make out way to Albany for the night. B/L/D Day 3: ALBANY –PEMBERTON This morning we visit the Blow Holes, Natural Bridge, the Gap, and Whale World. Leaving Albany, driving through Denmark, we arrive at the Valley Of The Giants, for our Tree Top Walk and Ancient Empire walk. Have lunch then onto Pemberton to climb Gloucester Tree . Stay at Pemberton for the night. B/L/D Day 4: PEMBERTON – MARGARET RIVER Leaving Pemberton we call into Augusta, where the Southern Ocean and Indian Ocean meet at the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse. From Augusta we drive to Jewel Cave for a guided tour. Next we will start visiting a couple of wineries for which Margaret River is famous for. We will visit Leeuwin Estate then into Margaret River. Set up camp, have lunch and then call into Vasse Felix winery; the unusual Bush Shack Brewery returning to Margaret River. (If we get time call into Prevally Beach and Surfer’s Point), we will stay at Margaret River Tourist Park for the night B/L/D Day 5: MARGARET RIVER – PERTH For our final day, we will call into the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and Cheese Factory, then onto Gnomesville and Wellington Dam for lunch, arriving back in Perth in the evening.
