37 Day Australia Sightseeing Camping Tour Western Australia Northern Territory
If you have itchy feet and want to see Australia sightseeing this is the ultimate tour. We leave Perth travel north via Kalbarri, Coral Bay, Karijini National Park, Broome, Darwin, Alice Springs, Uluru, Kalgoorlie, Esperance, Albany, Margaret River and return to Perth.
Our Australia sightseeing tour is a camping tour for 37 days with just about everything supplied. As it is a 37 day tour we break the camping up a little bit with 6 nights in a hostel where you supply your own meals. Other than that all camping gear is supplied, meals are provided, entry to National Parks and other tours are all included.

Day 1 PERTH - CERVANTES
Our tour leaves Perth 8am. We travel north to our first stop at Yanchep National Park. Here we see Koala Bears and have a tour through the Yanchep Caves. Continuing on we call into Lancelin for sand boarding at the sand dunes. (This is with another company and they require minimum numbers). We arrive at Cervantes – set up camp – then head out to Nambung National Park where we see the Pinnacles at sunset. L/D

Day 2 CERVANTES - KALBARRI
Today we call in and see the Greenough Wildlife Farm. Then en-route to Geraldton we see the Leaning Trees. After Geraldton we see the Pink Lake at Port Gregory, then call in and see Natural Bridge and Island Rock before arriving at Kalbarri in time for horse riding. Overnight at Kalbarri Horse Ranch with B/L/D supplied.

Day 3 KALBARRI - BUSH CAMP
We visit the Kalbarri National Park where we see Nature’s Window at The Loop and then onto Z-Bend where we climb down into the gorge. Then back to Kalbarri where we visit the amazing Seahorse Sanctuary and then to Rainbow Jungle being the biggest parrot display in Australia. After this we leave Kalbarri and make a bush camp beside a river. B/L/D
Day 4 BUSH CAMP - MONKEY MIA
On the road again we visit the amazing Stromatolites, call into Shell Beach up to Eagle Bluff Boardwalk and then into Monkey Mia for the night - all in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. B/L/D
Day 5 MONKEY MIA - CORAL BAY
We see the feeding of the Dolphins at Monkey Mia this morning, then drive through Carnarvon, detour to Quobba to witness the spectacular Blow Holes, then into Coral Bay for the next three nights. B/L/D
Day 6 CORAL BAY - CORAL BAY
Today you have the choice of a Quad Bike ride or a Glass-bottom boat/snorkelling tour with the rest of the day a free day. B/L/D
Day 7 CORAL BAY - CORAL BAY
A free day to enjoy the magnificent Ningaloo Reef area. B/L/D
Day 8 CORAL BAY - KARIJINI
Leaving the ocean behind we head bush to the spectacular Karijini National Park via Tom Price (the highest town in Western Australia). We restock food supplies arriving at Karijini for the evening. B/L/D
Day 9 KARIJINI - KARIJINI
Today we start exploring the spectacular gorges for which Karijini is famous for. We visit Oxer Lookout where four gorges meet, then climb down Handrail Pool and Hancock Gorge where we have to “spider walk” to reach Kermits Pool. We stay at Savannah Eco Camping grounds tonight. B/L/D
Day 10 KARIJINI - KARIJINI
We move camp about 50 km today to Dale campground, starting with Joffre Falls, then calling into the Visitors Centre and visit Circular Pool, Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool in the afternoon. B/L/D (Just as an aside, we have Fern Pool as the head page on our website as we think it is rather special).
Day 11 KARIJINI - 80 MILE BEACH
Back on the road again, we continue back out to the North West Coastal Highway making our overnight camp at 80 Mile Beach. B/L/D
Day 12 80 MILE BEACH - BROOME
Not too much driving as we arrive at Broome. We visit Cable Beach this afternoon and I drop you off at your first Hostel stay. B/L (you provide your own dinner tonight).
Day 13 BROOME - BROOME
A free day for you today where you stay at the hostel again tonight and provide your own meals for the day. (You may wish to visit Willie Creek Pearl Farm; have a camel ride at Cable Beach or just visit China Town.
Day 14 BROOME - FITZROY CROSSING
We pick you up after breakfast and continue our tour north visiting Derby, seeing the Boab Prison Tree, then into Geike Gorge and make camp at Fitzroy Crossing for the night. L/D
Day 15 FITZROY CROSSING - WYNDHAM
Today we continue on North West Coastal Hwy arriving at Wyndham for the night. B/L/D
Day 16 WYNDHAM - EL QUESTRO
This morning we travel on the northern part of the famous Gibb River Road and spend the night at El Questro. We also see the magnificent Emma Gorge and water falls and also the Zebedec Springs. B/L/D
Day 17 EL QUESTRO - LAKE ARGYLE
Returning on the Gibb River Road we travel via Kununurra to Lake Argyle. We have a spectacular boat trip on Lake Argyle/Ord River Dam B/L/D
Day 18 LAKE ARGYLE - LITCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK
We leave Western Australia and head into Northern Territory arriving at Litchfield National Park for the night. B/L/D
Day 19 LITCHFIELD NATIONAL PARK - DARWIN
We spend most of the day exploring Litchfield National Park then a short drive to Darwin where you do not have to put up your tents for the next two nights. I will drop you at your hostel where you provide your own dinner. B/L
Day 20 DARWIN - DARWIN
A free day for you today. You will be staying in your hostel again tonight and will be providing your own meals for the day.
Day 21 DARWIN – KAKADU NATIONAL PARK
We pick you up after breakfast and travel on the Arnhem Highway to Jabiru. From here we visit … camping in Kakadu for the night. L/D
Day 22 KAKADU NATIONAL PARK - KATHERINE
Exploring more of Kakadu today we arrive at Katherine for the night. B/L/D
Day 23 KATHERINE – TENNANT CREEK
Leaving Katherine, we continue south visiting The John Flynn memorial at Three Ways Roadhouse arriving at Tennant Creek for the night. B/L/D
Day 24 TENNANT CREEK – ALICE SPRINGS
From Tennant Creek we arrive at “Alice”. I drop you at your hostel for the night where you provide your own dinner. B/L
Day 25 ALICE SPRINGS – ALICE SPRINGS
A free day for you in the “Centre of Australia” where you provide your own meals for the day.
Day 26 ALICE SPRINGS – KINGS CANYON
Picking you up after breakfast, we visit the West MacDonnell Ranges including Standley Chasm, Ellery Creek and Ormiston Gorge. Arriving at Kings Canyon for the night. L/D
Day 27 KINGS CANYON - YULARA
We visit Kings Canyon, arriving at Yulara for the next two nights seeing Uluru at sunset. B/L/D
Day 28 YULARA - YULARA
We call back to Uluru this morning with a chance to climb it or as many people do walk around the base. From here we visit The Olgas (still in Uluru-KataTjuta National Park). B/L/D
Day 29 YULARA - WARBURTON
Leaving Kata Tjuta travelling on Great Central Road, we arrive at Warburton for the night. Today is spent mainly on Gravel Road where you experience the Real Outback. B/L/D
Day 30 WARBURTON - LAVERTON
Continuing on we get back to sealed road and Laverton for the night. B/L/D
Day 31 LAVERTON - KALGOORLIE
An easy day today to Kalgoorlie where we visit the Super Pit Mine. B/L/D
Day 32 KALGOORLIE – CAPE LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK
From Kalgoorlie we drive through Esperance and Great Ocean Road where we see Pink Lake, Wind Farm and magnificent beaches to Cape Le Grand National Park for the night. B/L/D
Day 33 CAPE LE GRAND NATIONAL PARK – STIRLING RANGES
Leaving Esperance behind we travel to Hyden visiting Wave Rock- then into the Stirling Ranges for the night. B/L/D
Day 34 STIRLING RANGES - WALPOLE
We drive to Albany seeing Natural Bridge and The Gap, with a brief stop at Whale World. Onto Denmark where we visit an animal farm, then into Valley of the Giants and Tree Top Walk. We make camp near here tonight. B/L/D
Day 35 WALPOLE – MARGARET RIVER
This morning we drive through Pemberton where we can climb Gloucester Tree then into Augusta for a tour through Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and Jewel Cave, then into Margaret River for the night. B/L/D
Day 36 MARGARET RIVER – HONEYMOON POOL
This morning we visit wineries for which Margaret River is famous for, plus the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Travelling through Donnybrook we visit Gnomesville, reaching Honeymoon Pool for our last night together. B/L/D
Day 37 HONEYMOON POOL - PERTH
After spending some time exploring the river and ferns, we visit Wellington Dam and arrive back to Perth after 37 amazing adventures fun-filled dates with a huge variance in scenery, locations, activities etc plus over 10,000km of travel. B/L
