Crikey Adventure Tour starts. Leave Perth 7.00am heading north out of the city we travel to Nambung National Park, the setting of the mysterious Pinnacles. We stroll around the spectacular limestone formations known as the Pinnacles. After leaving the Pinnacles we will stop along the way for lunch. We then continue on to Kalbarri, where we have our first nights stay at Kalbarri Anchorage Caravan Park. Here you will have full access of all facilities including laundry, shower, toilet and swimming pool. L/D
After breakfast we visit the Kalbarri National Park viewing the Z-Bend and Nature’s Window at The Loop. From here we drive to Hamelin Pool and the Stromatolites stopping along the way for lunch. After the Stromatolites we continue on to Monkey Mia at Shark Bay via Denham for the night. We will be staying at Monkey Mia Caravan Park with full access of all facilities including laundry, shower, toilet and swimming pool. B/L/D
A leisurely breakfast gives us a chance to meet the world famous Bottle Nosed Dolphins. After viewing the Dolphins in their natural environment we leave Monkey Mia and travel to Shell Beach. We stop on the way for lunch before travelling through Carnarvon to Ningaloo Reef and Coral Bay for the next three nights staying at Bayview Coral Bay Caravan Park. Once again with full use of the laundry, shower, toilet, swimming pool, volleyball and tennis if you wish. This is where the adventure tour really kicks off. B/L/D
Today on our adventure tour we venture out into the big blue yonder on a deep sea fishing expedition. Depending on the season you may even see the humpback whales on their migration. B/L/D (For dinner tonight we will cook up some of the fish we catch today). Note the fish caught will be communal fish where we share equally.
Today you have the choice of a Glass Bottom Boat - viewing the magnificent coral and the opportunity to snorkel or go for a Quad Bike tour and see the turtles in their natural environment. You will have plenty of time to soak up the sun or snorkel from the beach at this beautiful Ningaloo Reef, viewing coral and an assortment of coloured fish just metres from the beach. See the “feeding of the fish” at 3.30pm. Other things to do include walking to the sanctuary where you may see hundreds of baby Reef-Sharks, or view the sunset over the Indian Ocean, just to mention a few. B/L/D
This morning we pack up and leave Coral Bay for a brief visit to Exmouth and the spectacular sight from the carpark at Vlamingh Lighthouse. We will stop along the the way for lunch enroute to the magnificent Karijini National Park where we will make our camp for the next 3 nights. Full access to showers, and toilets. B/L/D
Today the adventure tour starts to get active climbing some gorges. We will start off at Weano Gorge and the spectacular view from Oxer's Lookout where four gorges join together. From there we will visit Handrail Pool and finish up with Hancock Gorge where you will have the opportunity to climb up and down ladders, rope ladders and even 'spider walk'. Once again the group can be split up where the “active” people go all the way and the “not so active” people go part way. B/L/D
For the fit, today will be right up your alley. We have the opportunity to hike to the top of Mount Bruce (the second highest mountain in Western Australia - a mere 16m smaller than Mt Meharry). This is like an adventure tour all in itself. If you don’t think you will be able to walk all the way to the top the group can be split up and one group goes to the top while the other group goes part way. B/L/D
We will also visit the Karijini Visitors Centre enroute to Dale Gorge for a hike around the fern fringed Circular Pool to the stunning Fortescue Falls, enjoying the majestic beauty of Fern Pool. There will be time to allow you to have a swim in these pools. B/L/D
Day 10: Karijini National Park – Mt Magnet
A fair bit of driving today with an overnight stay at Mt Magnet (toilet, showers). B/L/D
Day 11: Mt Magnet - Perth
Last day, leaving Mt Magnet we will travel home via New Norcia for lunch with a final stop in the Swan Valley to visit Sandalford winery - arriving back in Perth about 6pm. Sadly the adventure tour is over, but no doubt it left you, and us, with some magical memories. B/L
