Due to feedback from our 5 day Best of the Coral Coast tour, we have now changed this tour to a 6 Day tour. We have retained all our good bits and in addition we also now incorporate a visit to New Norcia, the home of the Benedictine Monks, and visit the Margaret River Chocolate Factory and a winery in the Swan Valley on the way home. We have also added a 2 day weekend tour that is ideal for kids to learn some basic camping skills. This is ideal for the single mums and their kids to get out and learn a bit about camping. If you are interested in either of these tour, or any of our other tours, give us a ring or...

Our last tour included 3 mums and their 5 kids. It was a fantastic tour and so rewarding to see the kids (aged between 5 and 14) learn and develop their camping skills. From leaving home and having no knowledge of how to put up a tent etc, by the time we got to the last night, the kids were all taking total ownership in erecting the tents, inflating the mattresses, getting the sleeping bags and pillows and making sure they, and their mums, would have a comfortable sleep at night.
It was even further satisfying, particularly from the mums point of view, where there was no Play Station or Xbox, no computer to sit in front of all day, no television to watch at night time, and the kids actually got outside and played. I received some very positive comments from not only the mums but also the kids saying how wonderful it was for the kids to be able to run around at night in the safety of a caravan park and play with not only each other, but other children at the caravan park. I am sure I will have more bookings from some of these mums and their kids or at least their friends when they get back to school and start talking about their Crikey tour.
That is the main reason why we have now developed our 2 day weekend tour to allow the kids to learn some great camping skills. We will teach them how to put up a tent, how to light a fire in a safe environment, how to cook a barbecue on a hotplate over a wood fire. (See photo above of our typical BBQ).
